Dear Rowing Friends,

Rowing club Daventria organizes for the third time in succession:

The INTERNATIONAL ROWING EVENT OVERIJSSEL 2011.

It's a rowing trip of about 200 km in four stages of approximately 50 km. The start is in Deventer on Thursday, May 19, 2011 and ends in Deventer on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

The tour takes you on the best parts of the river IJssel, the river Ovrijsselse Vecht and the Twente channels. During the day you're on an adventure with many teams from home and abroad and in the evening you can have a good dinner with a glass of wine while pleasantly chatting about the stage of that day. Sunday is a grand welcome in Deventer and of course a delicious meal will be served. It is a unique event that has no equal in the Netherlands. We would love it if your club delegates at least one team.

Participants of last year were unanimous in their opinion: fantastic! All teams, with rowers of any age and normal recreational rowing level have easily finished the whole tour. It remains a ferformance tour which requires a good preparation. For the organizers, the very positive reactions of the participants are an incentive to organize the tour again in 2011.

We will provide a wonderful rowing event.
